I'm a huge fan of books that take children on an adventure they'd really want to live out. Edward in the Jungle is just such a book.What little boy wouldn't want to suddenly find himself swooped from the trees by Tarzan himself? Each page offers a new danger to avoid and opportunities for Edward to prove just how brave he is. Much like Baum's beloved stories set in Oz, Edward finds all of this in his own backyard.
